Science Socks for kids

Socks with the planets on them

We want to encourage children to study science and critical thinking. Most kids are “natural” scientist but get scared that the science class is too difficult. With fun science socks, perhaps we can help them see that science is not so intimidating. ReadMore…

Wet Socks Suck

GOOD NEWS – we have received a donation of 1,000 socks from Bombas.

According to the 2017 Homeless Count in Hillsborough County, on any given night there are at least 1,549 homeless men, women, and children in Tampa-Hillsborough County. These are people who are sleeping on the streets, behind buildings, in encampments, in cars, emergency shelters, and transitional housing. Florida’s rainy season leaves many people vulnerable to sores, blisters, and trench foot (which can lead to gangrene). Read More…image of person with wet, dirty socks

Teachers Aid

With the state legislature moving funds from public schools to private, religious schools, we need to stand up and support our schools. We know that teachers have spent their own monies to buy supplies in the past, now it will get even worse. Read more…
